Achieved by winning over a team that initially resisted the move to agile. The right agile way of working improved collaboration and efficiency in the intercultural team. Bosch then applied the approach to new agile teams as well.

It looked like a process problem. It turned out to be mainly a cultural one. After the acquisition of a shipyard abroad, start-up issues caused errors, delays and frustration between colleagues from AT, DE and IT. A culture workshop, a new meeting culture and better information flows got the teams on the same page, resulting in fewer production errors and shorter lead times.

What drives me
My love for SMEs and scale-ups.
Smaller companies can take on the big names, if they really use their strengths. I believe in that, and that is what I work for.
I'm a big fan of SMEs and regional players: the family business, the company someone built from scratch, the scale-up with a good idea. Their innovation and personal touch get me excited. It is no coincidence that I studied business management for SMEs.
As an SME or scale-up, you are fast, flexible and close to your customers. I help you make full use of that advantage over big companies.

About me
German by birth, Dutch by choice.
I come from a German family of entrepreneurs in the anchor business and ran my own online shop for boat and yacht equipment. So entrepreneurship is firmly anchored in me ;)
I came from Stuttgart to Rotterdam for my master's and worked there for a while before starting my consultancy. So I know both the Netherlands and Germany as an entrepreneur and as a consultant: how decisions are made, how things are sold and how people work together. I love to combine German thoroughness with Dutch pragmatism and a can-do mentality.
These days I live in Haarlem and I'm married to a wonderful Dutchman. I like to do renovations (I especially love the demolition part), have an unplanned cat and a bookshelf full of entrepreneurship. And now and then I volunteer as a lock keeper at Europe's oldest working lock.
